Dr. Suresh is interested about providing vision to low-income population. He gave up the opportunity of joining the decorated Indian Police Service (IPS) after qualification to put to use his exceptional surgical capability to the betterment of common man. He has performed over 20,000 free cataract surgeries working for various non-profit organizations in Karnataka. Dr. Suresh holds M.S and M.B.B.S degrees from Bangalore Medical College, India. He is currently working as Assistant Professor in Minto Eye Hospital, Bangalore.

Ashok Jayaram - Co-Founder, Director :
Ashok is passionate about building social enterprises that make basic services more affordable to Bottom-of-Pyramid population. He is a class of 2011 MBA student at Kenan-Flagler Business School, UNC Chapel Hill. His focus areas are Social Enterprises and International Development. Prior to B-school, Ashok worked with Huawei Technologies, a global telecommunications solution provider, in their R&D department based out of Bangalore, India. During the summer of 2010, he interned with a Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation public health partner agency in Karnataka. Ashok holds a B.E degree in Information Science from Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering, India.

She has done Fellowship in Medical Retina from Retina Institute of Karnataka. She provides a good supporting hand in all camp activities of Belaku Eye Foundation.
